Live Performance with Acoustic Emphasis

Performing on-stage can be intimidating but the right set of gear and tips to help your playing stand out in a performance setting can give you the confidence to take the chance! Join Andy as he walks you through PA equipment needs, personal gear, guitar playing technique for better performances, all in a solo acoustic guitar setting that is applicable to all aspects of live performance on-stage.
Bio
Having grown up in Shenandoah, Andy developed a love for genuine sound and music from an early age. Starting his musical journey in choirs and Jazz Band throughout High School, continuing on to develop chops in the music community of Chicago. Finally settling back home in Virginia, Andy continues to push his ability through various projects in the area, mainly regional touring with his band Sisters & Brothers, playing fresh interpretations of the Jerry Garcia Band catalog, as well, working on their first original album.
In addition, he can be seen playing around Central VA with Grateful Dead Tribute: Bigfoot County. Andy cut his teeth playing solo acoustic and can be found performing in this classic arrangement on any given day of the week. Developing a true skill for solo performance and instrument looping to bring a fun positive energy to any given show. Mixing his roots of bluegrass and folk with a formative background in jazz and rock, throwing psychedelic touches to round out a wholesome performance anywhere he goes!
