Flower Dance Workshops
Carli MareneckDescription:
Carli Mareneck will offer two movement workshops that build towards an outdoor performance on the same day.
Performers ages 6-adult are welcome (6 and 7 year olds must be accompanied by an adult). Participants will both improvise and learn choreography that brings forth images of flowers visited by butterflies. Performers will borrow props made by Carli for the dance.
Bio:
Carli Mareneck, of Lewisburg, WV, has a gift for guiding groups towards self-discovery, creative expression and centering. She brings over three decades of experience to her teaching and choreography which continues to be featured regionally. Carli is recognized as a respected leader and teacher who employs her extensive training in Modern Dance, somatic movement, mindfulness and trauma-informed approaches in her work. She is valued for her integrity and commitment to promoting healthful living and creative expression through the arts.
