We’re in a Sabbatical Year

Mountain Run Jam is currently in a sabbatical year, a year without our annual event.

This pause is intentional. It gives us the space to rest, reflect, and build the systems, support, and structure needed to ensure the Jam’s thriving in the future. While we’ll miss gathering in the way we’re used to, our commitment to this community and to the heart of the Jam remains strong.

Why This Pause Matters

The Jam has always been more than a weekend. It’s a community rooted in agriculture & the arts.

This sabbatical gives us space to:

rest and restore after many full years

reimagine the Jam, while staying true to all that we love best about it

build structures that support the long-term health of the event

ensure that when the Jam returns, it does so sustainably for all involved

This is a transition, not an ending. A time to fortify our foundation so we can continue to serve this community.

Staying Connected During the Sabbatical

The best way to stay connected is through our newsletter.

We’ll share occasional updates, reflections, and announcements as plans take shape.

Help Shape What Comes Next

One of the most meaningful moments at our most recent Jam was our Visioning Session.

It reminded us how powerful it is to imagine the future together.

If you have reflections, ideas, or hopes for the future of Mountain Run Jam, we invite you to share them.

Supporting the Jam

If you feel called to support this work financially, your contribution helps sustain the Jam during this transition and into the future.

You can: make a one-time donation OR become a Lifer—a one-time contribution that supports the long arc of this community and grants access to future events, for life.

Thank you for being here, and for walking with us into this next chapter.

With love from Sedalia,
Allison & Mark
