Re-Inspiring the New Agrarian Revival

Jason Fowler

Since the Industrial Revolution we have modeled our lives and society on the paradigm of the machine. Now as that revolution gives way to a digital, information based culture we are being drawn into a disembodied future – like ghosts in the machine. But a new back-to-land movement is sounding the call to resist and reclaim old paths back to the land, back to local community, and back to an embodied, ecological narrative. Join us in this workshop for readings from notable agrarian voices like Wendell Berry, Gene Logsdon, and Paul Kingsnorth as we re-orient ourselves towards a new rootedness.
