Teacher Bio:
Jenn first found mindfulness and a yoga mat twenty years ago, when her work called for a nomadic lifestyle, and these practices became her anchor. During her travels she could find her center whether she was amidst snow covered mountains, at sea, or along the trail. While she studied marine plants by day she discovered earth based plants and their medicines about ten years ago and has been deepening her connection with them thanks to gifted teachers and their presence in the special part of the Appalachians that is her home. She has had the honor of sharing these practices with others for over a decade, offering seasonally-aligned practices in and out-of-doors, in the classroom, at her wellness sanctuary, and along the surrounding hills, rivers and trails this special part of the Blue Ridge offers. On paper she's a Certified Ayurvedic Wellness Counselor, Yoga Alliance registered yoga teacher (200 E-RYT, 300 RYT, YACEP), licensed massage therapist (license #0019015838), Reiki Master, and practicing herbalist. Whether in class or a private session, Jenn meets you with warmth just as you are, integrates the age-old practices, and layers in intuition to create experiences tailored to those open to explore and interested in seeking wellness, a deeper connection to themselves, or the natural world.
