Chef Caleb & Sam Pepera
This year we welcome back chef Caleb Pepera. Hailing from Michigan, Caleb has been working in kitchens for over 15 years from Japanese to Smokehouses. After 10 years of the kitchen grind, Caleb realized cooking is about more than filling the belly, it’s about feeding the soul. He is passionate about highlighting local food and flavors, showcasing not only the ingredients but the place they come from.
As our in-house chef and food vendor, his focus is on highlighting Mountain Run Farm beef and lamb, Restoration Acres Farm pork, Mountain Run Permaculture veggies, and the bounty from neighboring farms. His menu offers delicious, filling, nutrient-dense local fare that is sure to please.

Wood Fire Grill
Chef Nate Gagnon and Rachel (wife and partner) started Carbon Catering food truck as a way to share their love of rustic wood fire cooking. Having both spent years of our lives traveling and living outdoors, we have a deep appreciation for the flavors that only fire cooking can unlock. We started in Maine 2019 and have since found our forever home in the Blue Ridge mountains of Central Virginia. Our farm here in Virginia is 50 acres providing fresh vegetables, fruits, herbs and flowers we use to create our delicious dishes.

Carbon’s own farm grows our zucchini, yellow squash, and red peppers, and locally sourced mushrooms, and onions all roasted over the fire then topped with chimichurri and goat cheese.
