Developing Mindfulness

This workshop will teach you how to notice more and be distracted less. It includes breathing exercises, movement and meditation designed to develop your awareness of the present moment without judgement. Mindfulness reduces stress and helps to step out of auto-pilot mode. The exercises encourage body and thought awareness and promote acceptance and curiosity of what is. Steady practice of mindfulness helps one to regulate emotions and decrease anxiety.

BIO:

Lea Plummer has been practicing mindfulness for the past seven years and has completed a year of self-study courses along with an 8 week certificate course on Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction.
