Children’s Story Hour is an invitation for young and old alike to sit down and enjoy the magic and rest of storytelling. This year we will be reading Backyard Fairies and Sonya’s Chickens by Pheobe Wahl. I hope you like it as much as I do!
Hi my name is Anna Castellano. I am a Sedalia local and I love my family and my community. I follow the path of my heart which currently includes human rights, herbalism, poetry, and working with natural materials. Some of my favorite childrens books are: Grandfather Twilight, The Tales of Tiptoes Lightly, Mia’s Apple Tree and Blueberries For Sal. I hope that I get the opportunity to meet you at this year’s Jam.

Even the tiniest streams can be home to little critters called aquatic macroinvertebrates. “Aquatic” means they live in water. “Macro” means you can see them without a magnifying glass. And “invertebrate” means they don’t have a backbone.
